Last week was a lovely vacation at Ocean Isle Beach, NC. I’ll show you some vacation pictures later (as soon as I go through them all) but for now here is a shot of me trying to capture my favorite color- that mysterious greenish/grey of the ocean at dusk.
Then, after getting home late Sat. evening I was getting ready for Jonathan, goat-shearer extraordinaire, to arrive Monday to shear my babies. (why yes, I did have to buy more laundry baskets) So as soon as I get another stretch of dry days (rain is in the forecast for the next several) I’ll be washing fleeces again, getting ready for the fall rovings. I’ll leave you with shots if Izzy before, during, and after- and I’ll be back soon.
Awwwww. BTW – I have a sock yarn in that exact color!! I think it was MadelineTosh. Will have to check later today.
